My own journey started in northern Minnesota. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire before beginning my career with State Farm Homeowner and Liability claims, where I directly helped customers recover from unexpected events. For 24 years, I have been happily married and am a proud father of two daughters who have grown into amazing young adults. I am active in my church and previously dedicated many years as a board member for the Kenya Children's Fund, supporting a K-12 school in Nairobi. In my spare time, I love traveling with my wife, playing hockey with friends, and going fishing!
